Why I Started My Indie Hacking Journey
Why I Started My Indie Hacking Journey 🚀
Every programmer dreams of building something great, especially when driven by ambition. 💡
I've been coding for over 10 years 🖥️, and throughout this time, I’ve worked on numerous side projects. For the most part, these projects were learning exercises—I built them to explore new technologies, sharpen my skills, or simply have fun. 🎯 But I never seriously considered creating something that could make a meaningful impact or generate income.
I was content with my job, tackling interesting challenges in a comfortable environment. Yet, every now and then, I found myself daydreaming about building my own product 🌟 and becoming a solopreneur. Despite those dreams, I never took concrete steps toward achieving them.
A long time ago, the idea of creating my own product started to grow in my mind. That’s when I stumbled upon the concept of indie hacking. 🛠️ It felt like a golden opportunity to pursue my ultimate goal: independence. 💪
For years, I waited for the “perfect idea” to strike—something brilliant, something genius. 💡✨ I had ideas, sure, but I always doubted whether they were good enough to succeed. And so, I did nothing. I stayed in a cycle of waiting, convincing myself that the right moment hadn’t come yet.
Then, last fall, everything changed. 🍂 I met a friend who was deeply involved in indie hacking. His excitement and experiences reignited my interest. 🔥 For the first time, I seriously considered the idea of building small products, launching them, and seeing where they could take me.
One October evening 🌌, I made a decision: I would stop waiting for the perfect idea. Instead, I would start small, create mini apps 🧩, ship them 🚢, and learn along the way. It wasn’t about waiting for greatness anymore; it was about taking action and making progress.
This blog marks the beginning of my indie hacking journey. 📝 I’ll share my experiences, challenges, and lessons learned as I work toward building something meaningful and becoming truly independent. 🎉
If you’ve ever thought about starting your own indie hacking journey, I hope this inspires you to take the leap. 🌈 Let’s build something great—one small step at a time.
